NUTRITION
/BIOSIGNATURE SESSION INFORMATION


The 
initial consultation involves an in-depth review of intake forms and a food diary. This consultation is used to build a complete picture of your personal needs, goals, medical history, areas of imbalance, current dietary and lifestyle habits. During this session, an initialBioSignature assessment is also done to get a picture of your current hormonal status.

BioSignature, a system developed by world renowned strength coach Charles Poliquin, is based on the scientific evidence that where people store their body fat is an indication of their hormonal profile. This means that unwanted body fat can be effectively addressed by balancing corresponding hormonal imbalances through a combination of diet, targeted supplementation, exercise and lifestyle modifications. Based on all the information gathered in this session, a personalized plan will be developed for you that will be specially tailored to address your needs.  This plan will be presented to you during the second visit. 

At the Second visit your unique plan will be presented to you and will include specific nutritional, lifestyle changes and supplement recommendations which are specifically chosen to help you reach your goals, support healthy digestion, detoxification, correct nutritional deficiencies and/or hormonal imbalances to optimize overall health and well being.

Follow up sessions (each including a BioSignature reassessment) are designed to help monitor your progress and provide ongoing support. These sessions will deliver tips to help build upon previous recommendations, make modifications if necessary and address any new concerns. 

As a result of these sessions you can expect an improvement in performance in ALL areas of your life - physical,mental, and intellectual. By following your personal plan, you will emerge leaner, stronger, healthier, happier, and more energetic.

FAQs

How long does a session take?

The initial assessment takes approximately 60-90 minutes. The second visit is about 45 minutes and follow ups are generally 30-45 minutes. 

How often must I come in for sessions after the initial and second visit?

Ideally, you should come back for a follow up within two weeks of the second visit to monitor progress on the program and assess how your body is responding.   After this point, follows-ups are recommended every 2-3 weeks to monitor progress and make changes if necessary.

How long will it take before I see results?

That depends on many factors: everything from current health status, to type and duration of hormonal imbalances, to activity level, lifestyle factors, and compliance. Our experience has been than most clients see positive results within as little as a month -- and sometimes within just a couple weeks.
